ANGELO WAS OUR ART TUTOR IN FRANCE in 2010 and 2012. His paintings express a zest for life and encompass a rich diversity of subjects from huge landscapes and dramatic still life to intimate scenes, portraits and figure studies. His oil paintings have a distinctive flair, joie de vivre, is one way to describe his work. Every piece is full of vitality and spontaneity.
He appreciates the character of old buildings, interesting people and the dignity of older folk. He has recorded many of these observations in drawing and painting activity - the diversity of life being a visual stimulus.
Angelo won the Sir Arthur Streeton Award along with numerous other awards, and has been a finalist in the Alice Bale Scholarship

Julia studied for a Diploma in Fine Art and has resumed her career after marriage and two children.
With a love for vibrant colours, she started painting at a very early age. After completing her education she then decided to travel, exploring Central and Northern Australia to gain a feeling for and connection to the land. Her “Tracker” series combined bold colours and found objects which captured the essence of the land.
Overseas travel took her to Canada, her birthplace, where she reconnected with people from her early childhood. Now, with her children at a more manageable age, she has more time to devote to her art and is exploring new areas using acrylics in abstract and semi-realist form.

Maryanne's work is unique and distinctive showing subdued sunlight emerging through cloud cover, mist-shrouded landmarks or fishing boats and yachts on lazy stretches of rippling water. Her most recent work reflects her travels through Europe, the United Kingdom and exploring Australia, with emphasis on rural scenes of France, Tuscany and the castles and churches of Scotland, Italy and England.
She evokes an ethereal feel in her work, the softness of which attracts the viewer particularly to the moodiness of the skies. Maryanne’s paintings have been sold widely within Australia as well as in the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom.
Maryanne was painting tutor for Ecliptic Gallery's 2009 Holiday in France
